our story
Ardor’s journey began when Boe, then an estate agent, met Ed while selling his home. A shared passion for beautiful, functional living spaces quickly led them to work together in construction, and when their previous firm closed, they founded Ardor Projects to bring their vision to life.
For Ed and Boe, Ardor is personal. It’s about more than building structures, it’s about creating beautiful family homes or architectural spaces that elevate how people live. Their small, tight-knit in-house team works alongside a trusted network of specialist subcontractors, ensuring each project benefits from the right expertise at every stage.
Both Directors bring strong technical foundations to their roles. Boe holds an NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management and SMSTS certification, while Ed is qualified with an NVQ Level 7 in Senior Construction Management alongside a NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety. Their team also includes trained first aiders, reflecting Ardor’s commitment to client care and safe, well-managed sites.
Health and safety is woven into every project. Ardor uses Site Docs, an online platform with QR code technology, to monitor inductions, safety checks, and RAMS. An external health and safety auditor visits sites monthly, providing independent oversight and reporting.
